I just know my friends list will be deluged with updates about how drunk everyone got, and who did what when they were drunk, etc etc.......
I don't know what it is, but I definitely go through waves of enjoying alcohol and then admonishing its use. The first few years of high school I detested alcohol use and thought it was "uncool" even though my friend and I would sneak bailey's into Mr. Lawton's World History class during 6th period. During my senior year I got drunk a lot, although I didn't admit to it and never told anyone about it until recently. My first year at UC Irvine I was staunchly against drinking in the upmost. Halfway through the year, I didn't care anymore and would consume it voraciously and then lie about it to all my friends back home. When I first got to England, I refused to drink, but then gave in and did it quite often when venturing out, and now, the nussaince of hangovers just do not appeal to me any longer.
Last weekend was amazing. As stated in the last entry, I wrote all about it and it got erased.
Highlights:
-my finger going up Heather's nose when we were at Subculture @ The Academy.
-seeing a dead body carted away from the rough streets of Birmingham, England.
-dancing to "Sic Transit Gloria....Glory Fades" by Brand New at Subculture.
-some smelly afro-having man coming up to Heather and me and making us do some stupid, lame-as-fuck "pirate secret handshake".
I just want to quit this documentary project. I hate editing. This whole thing is the source of all the stress in my life.
Saturday should be fun. Heather and I are making an actual breakfast for ourselves consisting of omelettes, hashed brownz, and REAL sausage. We are also going to construct a pictoral tour of our faire city of Birmingham. I shall post it so you can see, stuff...I dunno. WHO CARES.
I bought tickets to see Weezer at The Academy for 100 US Dollars. Fucking hell. It balances out, I suppose, since I will get to see Hot Hot Heat for free in May.
I bought my plane ticket back home. I will arrive on June 15th in San Francisco at around 1:50 pm. I totally miss my mom. and YOU of course.
