BUT IT WAS SO DELIGHTFUL. Yeah, so now that there's been some time to ponder, I've seen various people breathing fire over the Gallifrey thing and the horror of Moffat and whatever, but to those people I say suck it. The episode was fun from start to finish.

JFC, BLESS. Listen, I am the first to admit that Moffat has many problems, and there are parts of these past seasons that I'm still massively wtf no about. But I don't see why the people who loathe him so much won't just fuck off. I literally saw someone say he was killing the show the other day. And, ummmm I'm pretty sure this show is still pretty alive. Reference: simulcast in 94 countries.
Also, pet peeve - WHY DO WE HAVE TO CHOOSE SIDES IN THE MOFFAT VS. RTD DEBATE? WHY CAN'T WE JUST LIKE THEM BOTH? IT'S OK TO LOVE THEM BOTH.
And the Rose/Ten references were a lot more than the other companions got.

Dude, I don't get the angst about Gallifrey. I admit to feeling a bit conflicted about it, but people who say that this negates the entire run of the show were legit not paying attention. It literally does not alter Nine or Ten. Go home, haters, you're drunk.

Apparently it was one of those things I assumed I mentioned. AND BY ALL MEANS LET'S FLAIL NOW. I watched it again on TV and it wasn't a VASTLY inferior experience, but it was lacking the awesome of the 3D painting of Gallifrey. THAT was inspired. Well done, Moffat.

They did not show the Strax segment on TV. NEEDS MOAR STRAX ALL AROUND TBH.

Indeed, I am not usually a fan of super shaky phone camera video, but I make exceptions for lolarious Whovian intros. We all have our weaknesses.
