YAYYYY YOU CAME BACK WITH FEELS. Huzzah!

No news, just...IT'S KILLING ME TOO. I NEED A SEASON 3. I NEED IT.

They feel much more autonomous than a lot of women in 50s shows, and I really like that

They feel a lot more autonomous than most women in even modern shows, which I LOVE. They are just so unapologetic about pursuing what they want, and it's such a delightful thing to see in this world of Twilight and 50 Shades of Grey.

My favourite thing is the way that the men just treat them as though they deserve to be there and there's never really any insinuation that they don't deserve to be where they are because they're ladies. IT'S JUST PRETTY GREAT.

OMG YOU'RE SO RIGHT. You know, I'd never really thought about this before, because it just feels so natural and right, but it's so true, this is actually a noteworthy thing for this time period and this environment and everything. Good call. You are smart, my friend.

Marnie is just amazing. She was amazing from the moment that she worked out that Bel and Hector were having an affair to the moment she stood by her man to the moment that she told him that they would be living separate lives to the moment that Hector called her a clever girl. She is a queen and I love her.

YES, MARNIE, MY LADY. And ughhhh, that last Marnie/Hector scene. Just. The clever girl bit. Gorgeous.

UGHHHHH BEL/FREDDIE MY DARLINGSSSSSS. Yes to EVERYTHING you say. I love this:

And she just looks at him in this quiet way because she knows that he loves her but it TERRIFIES her that somebody could love her this way. Because what if she's just a girl? What if she's human and she fucks it up and she loses her best friend?

BEL, MY DARLING, HOW SO FIERCE AND YET SO FRAGILE? And I just fucking can't with the way they look at each other. There's this random scene at that Christmas party when they're just chatting, and then he calls her Moneypenny and he just looks at her in this quiet, adoring way, and it just kills me. KILLS ME DEAD, I TELL YOU.

AND THE WAY THAT SHE LOOKED WHEN SHE MET HIS WIFE.

GUT-PUNCH. OH, WHAT A GLORIOUS GUT-PUNCH.

Oyyyy, there are just so many flawless scenes that are always lingering at the top of my head at any given moment. The Money...Money...business was crushing. I knew what he was doing the second he started, because of course Bel is what he would think of during a time like this. The two fundamental truths in Freddie Lyon's universe are his unrelenting passion for using the news to expose and improve the world...and Bel Rowley. That's all there is, really.

I JUST CAN'T WITH THEM THEY ARE SO PRECIOUS TO ME RETURN TO ME MY LOVELIES.

I am so glad you are here to flail with me about this, friend. We must support each other in these trying times.

So many feels that I hardly know where to begin in trying to process them! Just SO FABULOUS ALL THE TIME. And YES, every time that Freddie calls her Moneypenny and she calls him James I. JUST. DIE. Every time. And you are so right about Freddie. The truth of things and Bel. They are the only things that matter to him.

WHYYYYYYY won't the BBC confirm a third season? WHY MUST THEY DO THIS!

We will simply have to hold each other if they cancel it. WHICH THEY MUST NOT DO. EVER.
