So it occurred to me that I have not posted on LJ for the entirety of August. This displeases me. But I have about 3 hours left in August, so I'm making an appearence to say that yes, I'm alive. As usual, I'm apologizing for being so dreadful at fandom this summer. I've had a crazy busy summer, all in a good way, but it's made me very lazy. I've been spending a lot of time in the real world and not nearly enough time on the internet. I know. LIFE IS HARD.
So here's what I've been doing.
1. ALL THE WATCHING OF SPORTS. This has been the best summer for sports. I am a huge Olympics freak, so that was a highlight. I'm also thoroughly enjoying the US Open (Wimbledon's actually my favourite tennis tournament, but the US Open is so much easier to watch, since I don't have to wake up at 5AM to catch the matches). Feeling very nostalgic about Andy Roddick, who has been my very favourite for pretty much a decade. Nadal is a very close second, so that boy needs to get healthy already, because I don't like change, and I need someone to root for.
2. Traveling. Traveling is fun. I went on my very first roadtrip! I am an adventurer.
3. Um. There is no three. Really, #3 is just a greater concentration of the things I usually do. But my sleeping hours have been completely reconditioned (against my will). I now naturally wake up no later than 9:30. WHAT THE FUCK, BODY? Why do you do this to me.
Meanwhile, Doctor Who starts tomorrow! Anyone excited? BECAUSE I AM.
This post has been entirely uninteresting. It is mostly just to prove to myself that I still exist. Because if it says so on the internet, it must be true.
Lastly, a meme, because I haven't gotten myself into trouble lately.

P.S. Tomorrow is September 1st. Which means it's time to go to Hogwarts for the start of the schoolyear. Does anyone else think about this every year at this time? No? I thought not.
