gay governor

so NJ's governer came out of the closet today and admitted to having a homosexual affair before a large audience, and with that he handed in his resignation due to take place in november,

kudos for having the balls to admit you cheated,

but is it written somewhere that if you are gay you cant hold a political office?

No.

But I think what people are more going to go off on is the cheating on the wife. That is what really pisses off the USA

true, but there have been other political figures in our recent past that have also cheated and mangaged to stay in office,
i wonder if there is something else behind this that will surface in the next few weeks, and i say this because there was the other governor who just resigned not too long ago, the one from connecticut i think, although he did it due to corruption,

It's all part of the shame culture we live in. It would have taken more balls to say "I'm gay and fuck you if you don't like it, I'm still your governor, bitches."

what really is a shame is the place that this country of ours is in, its like the questions to be asked are, what was his track record during the 2 years he was in office, and was he fullfilling his responsabilities, not how he liked his sausage for breakfast . . . .
