Website Updates
JM updated their site a few days ago featuring the fabric swatches from this summer season. The British Logo print looks nice in purple and pink! The dot series looks like it has potential. But my heart still belongs to the weirdness that is Chelsea cat and the fantastic Angel Lace series.
I found out recently that there is a MILKBOY website. Fabulous! Now I can see what kind of items they have in their collection. Their cut is really for thin guys so I think some pieces women can wear as well. To see what they have this season click on items. I was surprised that they had a shop in Paris and Hong Kong carry their stock. I really like the blue school jacket and the dot skinny pants. The Talking Heroes shirt was inspired by the Talking Heads. It has a kind of punk/street feel doesn't it?
MILK recently put up the images from their recent fashion show (back in March or February?). I didn't like MILK much before, but after visiting their shop in Harajuku and seeing their clothes in person I was able to understand the charm of MILK. Somehow you really don't get a sense of how nice the clothes are from a photo. What do you guys think of the collection? The mouse and star print is very 1980s, and the dot prints are really fun.
