You know, I've really learned a lot here at school. Not just about dinosaurs and supernovae, but also (and more importantly) about racism and about how being offensive is not so funny. I've refined my ways; I can't even fake laugh when I hear a racist joke (and those used to be my fave variety!). But despite all this, the idea of an MLK party where you dress up like black people (Aunt Jemima, anyone?) and eat fried chicken and drink malt liquor still sounds really really fun. How can you NOT love dressing up and acting stereotypical? Go to The Smoking Gun to see the pictures and try to pretend like that doesn't look like a totally entertaining party.

Update: I guess I should reiterate the story too. So these frat guys held an MLK party and decided they'd all dress up like stereotypical black people. The pictures went on facebook, someone who shouldn't have seen them (aka someone from the NAACP) saw them and reported them, and now it's "despicable" and people are getting all heezy wheeezy about this politically incorrectness. So THERE. Again, I'm siding with the kids because themed parties are FUN.
