Home sweet home?
I'm back at Bard. The dorm's mostly empty, except somehow both washing machines are full, which...what?? But it did lead me to break the ice with the woman across the hall who is apparently one of the teachers for Citizen Science, as I had to ask her if it was hers (it wasn't). She seems nice, though.
Kalena and Adam are also arriving today, but I think everyone else filters in throughout the day tomorrow. Which is fine, and could be pretty fun actually. Get the next while to myself (for the first time in a looong time) and then I can con them into hanging out and helping me make Griffin Simpson's hat for him. I brought my hatblocks, and I know Kalena was really interested to see how it worked, before.
My letter to Chiara finally arrived. That took, what, a month? Bah. Which means I'd better send off that Valentine's package very soon. Gotta get working on that.
Anyway. Gonna do the dishes I didn't before I left (eugh, I'm so gross) and try to figure out whose laundry that is and then it's time to settle in and write. I'm looking forward to this.
