Ooh, oh, you did such a *gorgeous* job with the telling Adam he loves him and first time scene there - loved it! <3

Wow, that was sweet and hot and awesome!

I liked the conversations Kris had with Katy, they felt realistic. And I liked the descriptions of Adam when Kris was telling Katy. The imagery and pace of the scene were just beautiful!

Can't wait for the rest!

Once again, absolutely gorgeous. This, especially, hit me hard:

"It's...it's him, Katy." He's terrified, now, almost more of looking at Adam than Katy's reaction on the other end of the phone. "It's his voice and his smile and the way his eyes dance when he laughs. It's his passion and his cunning little smirk and the strategy behind his grace, it's his fucking heart, because Katy - I told you the truth."

Because that's exactly it, I think. It's not about gender, or orientation, or anything like that...it's about who they are to each other, and it's beautiful.

I may have cried a bit.

Exactly, oh, I'm so glad this came across! Like. I didn't want it to be a big thing, like, "OMG KRIS YOU'RE BISEXUAL???" on Katy's part, 'cause, like. It doesn't matter, that bit. And I wish...I wish that was true everywhere. That people could fall in love with people, could want people, without having to be like, "Oh, so yeah, I was straight, because I had sex with my highschool girlfriend and liked it, and then I guess I'm bi because I'm dating John now, and honestly girls don't have much appeal anymore so I guess I'm totally gay now."

And it's like...stop. Can you just be you? Can we not start with the assumption that someone is straight and then meander off of that? Figure out what you like and maybe label yourself if you find it necessary but don't start with a label, don't start in a room, because then you have to break down a door to get anywhere else.

Uh. ::stops ranting::

It means a lot that you saw that, and it means even more that I managed to drive you to tears. Thank you so much for reading.

The timing of my seeing this was pretty amazing, actually, because I had just gotten done commenting on something someone had said in the anon post over at ontd_ai. Their argument was that tinhatters are crazy because Kris "has had his sexuality figured out since he was 17", and I thought that was a huge misjudgment on their part.

I was trying to say to them pretty much everything you just did, both in the fic and in your response, but you've done it far more eloquently than I managed to. Sometimes you think you know what you want, but then someone you could have never expected comes and throws you for a loop. I think that's what Adam has been for Kris.

Haha! Awesome. I love it when things like that happen.

But, yeah! Adam's the exception to a lot of rules. ::grins::
