10. so, my official (fake) reason for holding off on this post is that i wanted to wait till i'd seen the boredoms at the starlight ballroom friday night, which was even more fantastic than i figured it'd be. i guess technically i saw the vooredoms, which is the official name of the new, three-drummers-at-once fourpiece version of the boredoms

I always hope to and never succeed to have one of those striking weird conversations with a clerk like I would hope. Sometimes, he or she makes a face, but other than that, I never get the excited talk.

i rarely have those kind of interactions myself. i'm not particularly friendly to random strangers i guess. but kung fu has a way of seeming like a secret society or something. people get all like "whoa, you're into that?" it's good.
