Farmer's Market, Kitty Kat, and a little nap

I had a fun, but tiring weekend. Saturday I dressed up as a kitty for the market (i.e. I painted my face and wore ears). That was pretty fun. Weird reactions though. The kids loved it, I think because it was obvious what I was, and so they could figure it out on their own. So that was cute. Women were mean about it, it was truly bizarre. One woman told Becky she was scary. Another woman said to me that it was hard to take me seriously and shop with my face painted like that and just walked away from the tent. WTF? Men, especially old men, kept calling me Pussy Cat. Uh huh. I put on my serious voice and said that I had dressed up for the kids. Jackasses. But seriously every woman came into the tent, focused on their purchases and didn't look up at us, and this tells you how self centered these woman are, until we asked for money and then went "OH" as though surprised, scared, annoyed, upset at us for having painted our faces. Which was truely bizarre, because behind us there were at least five people dressed up as clowns between the two booths. Next to us was a witch and a scarecrow. And our painted faces were surprising? I think they were just jealous, Becky and I looked damn cute.

Then Becky came over and we took a nice little nap. They were painting her dining room so she couldn't sleep at her apartment. Then we went over to Kate and J.J.'s and carved pumpkins. I still need to take a picture of my finished project with a candle in it. I should do that tonight. That was a lot of fun. It was just a few people, we ate dinner and then carved. They had an electric saw thing, that no one wanted to use, but of course I had to try it, and it was great! I tried to convince everyone else to use it too, but they were being stubborn and sawing by hand.

Sunday I went to a five hour prepatory class for the portion of the bar that I am taking in two weeks. EEK!! They gave us an additional outline and four practice test. I'm not sure if I will be able to get through all four, but I want to try and take as many as I can. Nadia was there, so it was nice to see a familiar face and talk with someone during breaks. We tried to find an open dunkin donuts, because neither of us really wanted starbucks, but Sunday down there is apparently a no coffee day. So we settled for starbucks and waited fifteen minutes for our drinks. I think the school forgot to inform Starbucks of the class that sunday, b/c they were a bit under staffed for the crowd that decended upon the coffee shop every hour during our ten  minute break. I rode the train back to school with Nadia and Tim and we had fun discussing costumes and what we plan on doing next weekend.

My next weekend looks rather full, but I've still carved out Sunday to do home work and practice for the MPRE. I am maybe, depending on if it happens or not, going out for a birthday party on Thursday. Go Jenny!! If I can make it there I definately want to go. But unfortunately I have a meeting for the CLR board that evening also, I'm hoping I can do both. If not, oh well CLR board. :) Then Friday, Mom and I are join Keith, Becky, and V V to a friend's house for a huge halloween costume party. Which I think will be loads of fun. But we can't stay up too late as we have one last market to do. I will so be glad when that is over!!! Of course the next weekend is the MPRE so my free Saturdays don't start for a while.
