Hey guys! This is the crack queen extraordinaire and the co-mod of this humble abode (I'm totally lying, we're so not humble. Our crack? The best crack ever. BEST!).
First of all, can I get a round of applause for
folkloric_feel? She's the mastermind behind the art and the style of this journal, and it is so beautiful! Thanks, babe! You rock!
Second, I would just like to say how excited I am to see such an interest in something made up on a whim while a few of us were just spewing crack around like nobody's business. We're almost up to 20 members and it's been almost 24 hours. That's amazing!
In honor of my excitement and all you members, here's the first part of a crossover fic I'm working on.

The day before the show, Carly and Sam bounced around the apartment singing along with every Drake Parker song on the planet. Freddie filmed them and complained the whole time. Spencer watched from the sidelines, laughing at the girls. Inside though, he was singing along, too.
Two weeks before the show was Carly’s birthday. When Spencer handed her the envelope, Carly tried her best to not roll her eyes. Who knew what Spencer got her this time? At least it wasn’t another creepy portrait sculpture like three years ago. That thing scared her. When she opened it and took out the four tickets, Carly screamed and attacked her brother.
Five months before the show, Spencer was surfing the internet when he stumbled upon the concert announcement. Drake Parker. Was coming. To Seattle. Spencer almost died with excitement. Before he hit the “order tickets now!” button, Spencer hesitated. He would need a pretty slick excuse to buy these tickets. It took him three seconds to remember the fact that Carly had a Drake Parker poster lying around somewhere in her room. He clicked the button and ordered enough tickets to make it seem like he was a nice big brother being nice to his sister’s nice friends. He then snuck into Carly’s room and found the poster under her bed. (It was then hidden under Spencer’s.)
Thirteen months before the show was, at the time, the best moment of Spencer’s life. A new Drake Parker CD had been released. Spencer had to have it. Right away. As he slipped out of the apartment, Carly called out, “Where are you going?” Spencer hesitated for only a moment. “To get some milk.” When he snuck back in three hours later (the lines were super long, but it was no big deal), Spencer had a carton of 1 % milk and the new Drake Parker tucked inside his jacket pocket.
Eight years before the show, Spencer was blown away when he heard his first Drake Parker song. He was totally rocking his Daka shoes, and instantly fell in love with the song that went along with the commercial. Spencer spent the whole night Zaplooking the information on the song, only to be led to the name Drake Parker. And then Spencer knew he was in love. Whoever this Drake Parker was, Spencer would be his biggest fan.

Two hours before the show, Spencer and the kids were standing in line to buy tee shirts. Carly bought a cute pink one. Sam bought one of each kind. Freddie was forced to purchase a sweater (“It could get cold in there, you know. Just buy it.”), one that would most likely end up being stolen by Sam later. When the guy behind the counter turned to Spencer and asked if he wanted anything, Spencer panicked. Buy a shirt, get outed as a Drake Parker fan. Don’t buy a shirt, regret it for the rest of his life. Luckily Carly came to his rescue. “He’ll take the blue one in medium.” Spencer protested, but almost cried when the guy handed him the shirt.
Seven seconds into the show and Spencer can’t help it. He follows Carly and Sam as they make their way to the front. Freddie tries to convince him to stay back, but Spencer pulls the big brother card and pushes through the crowd. He finds Carly and Sam in the front by the gate. When they turn around to find him two people away, they laugh and wave. Spencer waves back and turns to see if Freddie followed him, but then the lights dim and a familiar song begins to play. This, at the time, was best moment of Spencer’s life. He gave into his inner Drake Parker fanboy and screamed the lyrics along with Drake and the rest of the crowd.
Ten minutes after the show, Spencer is fighting the masses of people frantically searching for an available exit. Spencer can’t find Carly or Sam or Freddie (which he’s worried about the most, because if he were a creeper lurking around these parts, he’d probably pick naive and innocent Freddie to steal for sure) and it’s starting to scare him. Just as he is about to cup his hands to his mouth and shout some names, he hears Sam. “Spencer! Over here!” The three of them are standing and talking to a stranger. A stranger. Big stranger. With glasses. Who wears glasses in the dark? Touch my sister and die, Spencer thought as he pushed against the flow to reach the group. As he’s about to scold the children and send a glare in the big stranger’s direction, Carly grabs his arm. “Guess what?! Guess what?! We’re getting back stage!”
60 minutes after the show and Spencer is freaking out. How Carly and Sam managed to get backstage is beyond him, but he’s not complaining. They’re hanging around a table covered in perfect after-concert snacks, like Mountain Fizz and Fladoodles. But Spencer can’t eat or drink anything. Because he knows that right as he goes to munch on a Flutter Nutter, it’ll be that moment at time that Drake Parker will walk into the room. And Spencer must be ready, prepared, and ohmygod there he is. He’s all sweaty and smiley and he’s walking up to Spencer and he’s saying hello and, and, and - Spencer sneezes. All over Drake Parker’s hand.
Two hours after the show and Spencer is pretty sure he’s never met a guy as fun and awesome as Drake Parker. It’s as if Drake and him were meant to meet and meant to become instant friends. When Carly gives him the look, the one that says, “I know you’re having fun, but it’s one o’clock in the morning and if we don’t get Freddie home soon his mother’s going to start calling in SWAT teams.” It was times like this that Spencer wished he could just be a mean brother and tell her and her friends to just bug off and take a cab home. Instead he tells Drake he’s gotta go. Drake stops him. “Hey, wait. I know. Let’s take my limo!”
Eight hours after the show, Spencer wakes up and immediately regrets it. His head is pounding and his mouth tastes like liquor. He distantly recalls Carly asking to stay at Sam’s and Drake bringing in the wine from the bar inside the limo. Sitting up so he can check his clock, Spencer almost jumps out of his skin. There’s a body sleeping next to him. Spencer then realizes he’s not wearing anything. Except for his left sock. Spencer pulls back the covers and almost dies. There’s a naked Drake Parker in bed with him.
