Time for a random update

I've been at my new MySpace job for about three weeks now. I like that place. But after seeing the requests come in from our users, I truly fear for the fate of our future. I appears that 95% of our users do not know basic spelling, grammar, or letter writing. Quite a variety of stupidity comes across my computer screen.

Some random things I've come across... Feuding parents using MySpace as their battleground for custody over their children as they make (sometimes) false claims of cyberbullying in order to get the other parent remove the children's images from their MySpace. High school kids love themselves some burn books. Too many people overreact over small things. Some people still type in all caps like it's going to get my attention (when in fact it does the opposite because it's harder for me to read). Threatening to contact your lawyer, go to the cops, call the media, jump ship to Facebook does not scare me into giving you more attention than you deserve.

I like working with cops. I never really thought about being an investigator or detective, but after helping those types of officers out, I'm beginning to consider it. I like piecing together the puzzles.

There is no Special Order 40 with me... I'll have to explain this offline.

I'm starting to drink way too much Monster energy drink, as the soda machine at work stocks this, and for cheaps.

Remind me to do a job-to-job comparison next time and you'll get more likes and dislikes.

work, good stuff
