weeks in review
Lessee, I've been having pretty busy weekends.
After Wizard World, I took off to Vegas on Thursday to attend a wedding. Good times, good food. Went clubbing afterward. Good times. Left Vegas late Friday night, early Saturday morning. Then left Saturday morning to drive to San Diego for nephew's birthday party. Stayed in SD overnight and had Easter brunch with the extended family. Went home in the evening. Next day I ventured out to The Knitting Factory to watch The Slants and Dig Jelly play. I learned about The Stranger's Six, who are pretty good. I bought lots of T-shirts and a CD that night. (Maybe I should stop going to concerts and put my money into playing WoW instead.)
This past week, I went to some networking party thing. It turns out I've been to the club before. The event itself was so-so. I learned that some places totally overcharge for a Jaeger Bomb.
On Saturday, I got a letter in the mail from the sheriff's department. I have been assigned to a background investigator. Yesterday I got a call from said investigator and my interview with her will be at 6 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday). I'm not much of a morning person, but I'll give it my best.
