I couldn't leave well enough alone

Well, despite my plan concerning my computer in a previous entry... I went ahead and tried to get a desktop up and running. For some reason, last night I forgot all about my backup computer. It was originally a computer I was building for my niece, but her dad bought her a brand spanking new computer on the eve of me delivering my frankenPC. So, I pulled the hard drive from that system and put it into my personal desktop. And it boots. And while I had my system cracked open, I installed a whole mess of intake fans and the big-ass cpu fan I had in my old system (which I never installed in the new system because I thought it wouldn't fit... but it does).

Regarding the hard drive that failed, I can read all the other partitions other than the C: drive. So I'm going to wait until I have a backup hard drive large enough to copy all the files off of it before I go fooling with it.

Eventually, I need a new system with a mirrored raid.
