Got up for work this morning and it felt like I hadn't been in the office for a few days... but it was just yesterday. The reason why was I had done so much in between. I got home around 8ish, very early for me (read: R4R3!), and thought I could catch some WoW. Guild was scheduled to do some battlegrounds together. I get home, nobody wants to play with me. I log out, thinking maybe I can just go to bed early for once (read: also R4R3!). But I don't, I stay online and see what's going on.
Last night the PMX website was to start selling tickets for OLIVIA's concert. So I got roped into helping update the site. The tickets were supposed to go live at 10 p.m. At 9:50 p.m., when I was trying to update with ticket information, the site goes down. Waaaaaaay too many people were speed-clicking their refresh button on the site. It took us down for a while. So instead of getting the site back up, we agreed to stop all traffic to the site and put up one static page to sell tickets and memberships. So I'm frantically coding in html, using all my outdated html 2.0 knowledge (font tags and tables FTW! boxes FTL! kekeke) to pump out the policy and have a stylish banner on the top of the page. Luckily, I had created the banner graphics a few weeks ago when I wanted to redo the color scheme on the PMX forums. We get the static page up and watch people buy tickets for a few hours. We get our website back up, I make some more updates.
Thinking maybe I can get to bed around 1ish, I lie down, watch some TV. But then decide to check in online once more before hitting the sack. Turns out I was in the process of being summoned. They needed my help on supervising work on the PMX poster. It was a long and arduous project. Everyone systematically started dropping off, going to bed, until it was just me and the designer left. We finally finished around 5:30 a.m. She went to bed, I stayed up for half an hour to watch Teen Titans. Then crashed.
Yesterday was a long day.
P.S. UchuSentai NOIZ tickets will go on sale soon. We're finalizing some extras for fans. OLIVIA had no such details so it was easier to get her tickets up first.
