another one bites the dust
Today at work we are losing the sports editor (who gave a week's notice and is moving to our sister paper so he'll have more time to focus on his music) and a writer (who was only here 2 weeks and gave 8 hours' notice because he can't handle the job and school at the same time). Oh wells. Our managing editor isn't worried because we got tons of interns right now and she was about to make a job offer to somebody else. Hopefully we'll be up at full strength soon.
In other news, I installed a stock 6-disk in-dash changer last night. I figured last night was nice and cool, instead of sweltering, that I could get it done quick. And since I've had experience in tearing up my dash numerous times, it didn't take me that long. The hardest part was separating the AC vents from the head unit. After that, it was easy peasy. Maybe 10-15 minutes total.
