First, it was delicious. I would have it again the very next Christmas.
The Schlumberger Gewurtz was just the ticket and stood up well.
I used Deliah's recipe with two stuffings, but added chestnuts to the meat stuffing. Next time, I'd add it to the apple stuffing instead. The soaked prunes were nice but unnecessary. Leftovers were great.
Was a hit with the in-laws, not much more to say!
