Thursday
Given the weekend, I should probably just mention I was out with the boys on Thursday. A mate from the midlands was in town so wanted to meet for a drink. There were a couple places I've been meaning to try that I thought the group would enjoy, the main one being some place that sells Mezcal. We started off at a craft beer place, then went to the Mezcal bar, only recognizable by a bit of chalk written on a doorframe that was about to fall apart. Downstairs it was empty and the floor was covered in glass. There was a vinyl jukebox that played for free if you could find a number that worked. They only sold Mexican beer and Mezcal. Definitely 'an experience' and I think we all enjoyed it. Followed by a hip burger joint. Good night out, we don't get to see eachother as boys too often, all living in different parts of town (or not even in London). We should do it more often.
