Ah I love going to gigs. These New Puritans opened for The XX last night. Bonus. Will have to check out their new album.
As far as the headliners go, it's not the sort of music that's best seen with a noisy British crowd. It was, however, very reassuring to hear the renditions in person. The album is so magical, with the sparse textures saying so much more than the individual parts, that one wonders if it can be done live. It can.
