making the most of summer & anniversary
The weather is once again nice and we're doing our best to enjoy what's left of summer.
Wife and I went away for France a couple weekends ago for our anniversary. Saw a couple friends in Paris then went down to Burgundy for a night. Unusually for one of our trips together, the sun was blazing hot. We ate well. We drank very well. We went through some cute towns. We'll be going back to Burgundy, just as soon as I learn to ride a bike.
And last weekend we did a late night proms on Friday (Mendelssohn & Berg), BBQ at Claire and Trend's Saturday, and the rest of the cricket on Sunday. Busy and good weekend. Glad to see the Ashes come back to England, and a fine way to recover from a great but boozey BBQ.
