I'm not done reading my paper today, but a few things struck me:
First, the full
Glastonbury lineup was released to the Guardian. I have to admit, it really does look amazing. I'm going to have to carefully plan this. Also need to pick up those walkie talkies, cuz I'm not sure many people will be with me for some of my choices. Looks like I'll be skipping the Arctic Monkeys in favor of Bjork and Arcade Fire. Don't think I can miss The Who, though. Man, lots of planning. Exciting.
Second, and probably meaningless to most, I am very disappointed to hear that
Strada has been sold to the people who run crap restaurants such as Cafe Rouge and Bella Italia. Poo. Strada and Belgo are two of the few chains that actually do good food at a fair price. I suspect that will change with this new ownership.
Lastly, Bushie has pushed back action from the US on greenhouse gas emissions. I know
this article in the Guardian is very biased, but you have to admit that this course of action is to make it look like he's doing something whilst refusing to commit to anything.
