So there's three doors, A, B and C, and behind one of them is a hot girl (or hot guy (your choice)) who will love you forever if you pick the right door

It depends on several scenarios: 1) You are unsure whether or not the voice is telling the truth. If this is the case, then it doesn't matter. 2) the voice always tells the truth about the door which she isn't behind. If this is the case, you should always change your decision. This is because you increase your probability of choosing the correct door from 1/3 to 2/3. When you first chose, you had a chance of 1/3 of picking the right door, which means the probability of the hot girl/guy being in one of the other two doors is 2/3. If the voice always crosses out a door w/out the hotguy/girl in it, then you should always change doors, because you will have that probability of 2/3.
it looks like kristen kreuk to me. is it, clayton? ps--hilary duff? im dissapointed in you, pps--dont seconnd guess. go with B, cuz that was your gut instinct, and you're supposed to go with gut. although statistics isnt so bad either.
Unfortunately, I have heard Hilary Duff sing, although I don't actively listen to her... except for that one song with her singing about rain and stuff.... or maybe not...
If the voice is telling the truth, its always better to switch doors. Think of it like this: there are a million doors, and you pick number one. The voice says the person is not behind the doors numbered three through one million. Isn't it a good idea to switch to door number two at this point?

That is an excellent analogy, with 3 doors it makes it more difficult to see how the probability would change to 2/3, not 1/2 like Erik thought it would. With a million the probability would change to PICK THE OTHER DOOR!!

Consider this: you are on the show who wants to be a millionare. You have answered everything correctly and are playing for the million dollars. You use your only remaining lifeline, the 50/50, leaving you with choices A and B. You have no idea which answer is correct. Assuming you are taxed the same % for winning 1/2 a million dollars as for winning 1 million dollars, should you guess on the final question? Does it even amtter? Why or why not?
