you'll always be my hero, even if I never see you again

The Ensenada/Tijuana drop-off; was a success. In Ensenada my pop and Steve got shopping done in the morning, I played in traffic, we saw the big Calvary/Horizon church and met Pastor Juan Domingo. (The cat's an ex-La Jollan, and had started a bible study at Soledad Pres.) Juan has huge plans for setting up a Bible college (like this one) just north of Ensenada for the equipment of Mexican pastors and ministers, and Calvary Chapel Santa Maria is seeing how and if God is leading them to engage with that. We drove through their land to check out the gorgeous, rugged setting, and I gave the sport utility cow's undercarriage a good workout. (Note to self: re-name car.)

I'll save discussion about Calvary Chapel and denominations  for another day.

The boys made it to their hotel on Paseo de los Heroes, they fly to Aguascalientes today, and I made the two hour trek through the border to home ( with Emergency and I followed by ! in the CD player, completing what had been an otherwise dismal musical experience. I will plan the next trip better). I bought a fútbol jersey on the way out for cheap because I was more than willing to drive off without it. And all the little kids running around the cars made me cry.

It was the first I had driven in Mexico and I found my driving translates pretty well. I'll pick them up Friday morning, Stateside.

Ensenada with Coast should be pretty sick. If anyone has an acoustic/electric they want to part with, I know a pastor down there that needs one.
