Personal Disaster Averted
Okay, disaster might be a bit of hyperbole. I had one of my external LaCie hard drives go bad. Cracked it open to find a standard Maxtor drive inside. Mine is doing exactly the same thing that others have reported:
Anyway, I was worried I lost some digital memorabilia from my leather title days, but was happy to find that I had made copies. I'm now making more copies as well as uploading to other locations. I'm especially happy I found the slide show I did for my step down as well as the art for my event posters and ads.
Backups are good!
