So that's how it is
So I called out sick from work last night so that I could go to the doctor today, and my principal said, "Bring back a doctor's note." And I don't know how to take that. Does he mean that he just wants to have all his ducks in a row, and he doesn't want to show favoritism by asking one teacher for a note when he suspects they're lying and not asking me? Or does he think I might be lying? I think I'll ask him when I go back on Wednesday. Because if that's how it is now... hmph.
In other news, I'm thinking of becoming a school administrator. I think I'd be good at it. And I think I'd like to work for a while and then go back to school for a while. I like the school lifestyle. And then I could make oodles of money instead of the paltry salary of an English teacher. And I could boss more kids around as a principal.
