(no subject)
so today was my last day of work. Jac got me a card and everyone signed it and they got me a cake. It was really nice. I got some good encouraging words from my manager, who really hadn't said anything about me leaving the last two weeks, but he said that I was a pleasure to work with and he hated to see me leave. The support i got from everyone at work was awesome, they were sad to see me leave, but they were happy to see me get out and to move on to bigger and better things.
I'm going to madison tomorrow for a couple of days for some R&R, see my folks, give hopper a call and hang out with him. It should be nice.
The last couple of days I have been thinking about the Colts winning the super bowl. Besides my wedding day, it is hands down the greatest day of my life. If the colts ever win another one, and i'm sure they will at some point, i just dont think it will be as sweet as this first one. They deserved, I deserved it so goddamn bad that it finally felt like God's will was being done. I'm never going to get over it. It's like a tramatic event, but the exact opposite and I won't need therapy. I just can't let it go. I also realized that, like the Colts next year, I will be defending my Fantacy Football championship. I hope Dorsey does another next year, i always have fun doing it with those guys. A lot of them talk a lot of shit but I dont, I just win championships and look pretty doing it.
I'm really looking forward to this summer. I should have a lot more time to spend with friends, the regatta HAS to be better than last year, and I get 4th of july off. Actually i'm just looking forward to the rest of the whole goddamn year. before you know it, it will be football season again and this whole crazy dance will just tango on. I'd like to go up to a couple of Notre Dame games and tailgate like we did once last year. it was my first time and it was a blast. I think one of my regrets from college is never going to Purdue and doing the whole breakfast club thing, that always sounded fun.
I dunno what it is, but I love drinking beer out of my Nick's mason jar. the beer just tastes so much smoother, and it looks like you are drinking a urine sample.
