"like stop eating the paste special?"
I haven't really done much of anything today except go to my ANT lab, but I just figured I'd post SOMETHING b/c I hate just having the twitter posts as entries...
Right now, i'm hungry. I want a sandwich - a plain ol' turkey sandwich with mayonaisse. If I was at home, this wouldn't be a problem. Here, though? Yeah, it would cost me $8.50 to get said sandwich from Fresh. I don't have that kind of fundage. I DO have food in here to eat - I've got Ramen Noodles and Easy Mac, and on Pot Pie. But I don't want any of that cliche college food! I want home food! *headdesk*
There is also a cinnabon that is taunting me, and right now I have a large piece of cake that I'm slowly eating - but i'm not in the mood for sweets. I want FOOD!
I've been watching a lot of Animal Planet lately. It's just those docs on the big cats are so damn fascinating to me. They are such beautiful creatures, and the cubs are always so funny! Some of the stuff is sad and depressing (the one I turned on tonight was just showing a male lion killing a lion cub - sad stuff, but I know it's the way things go), but it's worth it to see such amazing animals just...being.
Did go to the mall today, though the only reason was to pick up the SG Magazine. Frelling Waldensbooks DIDN'T have the latest issue! They had ONE copy of the last issue out, but not the new. *headdesk* Oh, and btw - the latest issue of Skiffy Magazine has pics of SG-1 cast at Comic Con in it - there's one of Michael and Lexa when Michael looked beyond godlike (Lexa too), and one of Rick and Amanda. Also, there's a feature on Twilight. A good few pages, which is pretty nice considering it's Skiffy and they usually jip you of everything. So if you want to have the yummy pics of our favorite peeps to cut out and put up on your wall to oogle at, go pick up the Sciffy Magazine (that's the Scifi Magazine, for all who aren't responding to my sarcastic hate of Scifi - which is eternal 99% of the time).
I have a crap load of movies to watch, and STILL haven't got caught up on BN since 'Bad Blood'. And thanks to SOMEONE, I now want to marathon a bunch of my shows - all of THAT will have to wait until X-mika break.
Anywho, I think that's enough rambling for now.
