Yes, the subject line does tie into this post - 'Cause that's where I got the name for the subject being talked about in just a few microds...
So remember Billy from way back when? That was the name I bestowed upon the lovely MP3 CD known as 'Local Custom', which holds the recordings of a man with the sexiest voice like EVAR reading a book which is turning out to be fantabulastic (of course this might be EVIL!ME talking biasedly b/c well - LOOK WHO'S READING THE BOOK TO ME!)
Anywho, there ended up being a Billy Jr. Billy Jr. is the actual novel itself that I ordered at the beginning of last week because I hate when I have to just listen to a story, when I can be reading along with it. I know what you're thinking - But it's MICHAEL reading it! Still, I much prefer to read along because my thoughts wander easily when it's just talking - having the words in front of me really, REALLY helps hold my attention (maybe that's why I love fanfiction SOOOO MUCH! Reading so much, period!)
Anywho (squared)... I was able to upload the tracks (b/c the chapters are in tracks) onto my iTunes, and thus I have them on my iPod now! (I have Michael on the go some more).
So since i'm not just confined to my laptop with it like I originally thought I would be, I've decided I should post the progress on my 'reading' it here. Why? Because I like lists (as some of you know) and I think it'll keep me focused on it and help me towards my goal (b/c apparently I've set a new goal? *glares at EVIL!ME*) of getting my entire To Read list of books finished by Chicago Con. See, if I'm really gung-ho, I know I could probably get it done by Continuum's release, but I want to give myself some leeway cause I know me, and more importantly, I know my brabbits! But anyways, back to the topic at hand - My cross-off list of chapters for local custom (let's not go into my reaction when I found out there are 40!)
