I've started considering just having a little notebook with me at all times so when I hear good quotes for subject lines, I'll have a nice collection to go off of. LoL!
Okay, so I figured you guys would like an update on the major situation. Smurfinator, the genius miracle worker that he is (yes, I know i bitch about him more often than not, but he does have his good points), managed to get it all worked out somewhat. I got an email on Friday saying if I made an appeal to stay in anthro. and am certain I can complete all the prereqs by spring 2011, I'll should be able to stay in the major. I have to email this specific guy to make an appointment and discuss my options, but this definitely make things A LOT easier to handle. Especially considering the first route I was being told to go wasn't producing much response from other parties. This...this I definitely feel more comfortable with.
Today was the first day class listings for next semester were viewable. After looking in all my usual areas, I've managed to find four classes I would like to take. Three of them are anthro classes (including World's Great Shipwrecks, which was the one I WAS in this semester than they dropped the class), and the other will be some language class. I'm not sure which of the two I'll pick from. I'm considering trying Latin again to see if I'll do better this time around. I think the environment I was in when I took it the first time resulted in doing so poorly. Now that I have my own 'me' space here, it'll be easier to learn and handle I think. But I would like to give something else a go, and French is appealing to me at this point in time. It's definitely something to ponder.
Oh - Madre issued forth the same bet that we had going this year for the Stanley Cup. Same parameters apply. How could I not take the bet again?! I mean COME ON. Like I'm gonna let her talk smack like that! Pfft! She hasn't decided who she wants to ACTUALLY go to the Stanley Cup - she wants to wait until she sees who will be in playoffs (because she's a cheating whore! XP). All she's saying is the Canucks WON'T be making it again this coming season. Yeah...right. Definitely took the bet again!
Kitteh updates: River died. The specific reason as to WHY she did is unknown. What Madre told me was they let her out Friday afternoon, she came back that night, and Madre put her in the laundry room. The next morning, Madre found her dead. Smurfinator thinks (and has been thinking) that someone is poisoning our cats. To further prove our theory, two of the kittens from River's recent litter were dead this morning. They were the last two to have nursed from River. And of course this isn't the first instance where one of our outside cats has ended up dead for no apparent reason. Hinky much?
Book updates: Been a while since i mentioned any reading/book stuff that hasn't been class related. I started SG-1: Relativity a few weeks ago. Am liking it thus far, even if I am a bit confused on where it's going. Also ordered SG-1: Valhalla (as if I wouldn't! Ha!). Had to go through Amazon AGAIN b/c it seems WorldPay will no longer accept my card (this means I can't go directly through stargatenovels, which SUCKS GORILLA TESTICLES!). They should just set it up to be payable through Paypal. LoL. But yeah, it says it should be here by Friday. So hopefully by next Tuesday, I'll have! *snirk*
Alrighty - I think that's it for now. I need to go wash my dishes (exciting, huh?) and then possibly study. I kinda know I'll end up NOT studying, but I'm gonna TRY to at least! XP

P.S. - October is my LEAST favorite month on SyFail. SG-1 is showing a total of FIVE times all month - all of them in the late slot on friday nights. I'm sorry, but it's really NOT necessary to show horror movies ALL through the month of October. The last week, sure. But not for 31 fucking days! GRR!
