"Directive? Classified."
I'm a little too tired to recap everything in detail, and we've done so much already in the past few days that it would be hella crazy long as a full on post, so I'm gonna recap the vacay so far for everyone's reading pleasure:
- Saw more than one Denny's close to where we're staying (there's only a handful I've seen in Louisiana - the closest I know of being in NEW FRELLING ORLEANS!)
- Ch.4 CBS News!
- Things being open 24 hours/past 9 PM!
- Not having to worry about what I'm going to order for lunch.
- Saw my old house. The one I grew up in. Looks so small now!
- Went in my old neighbor's house. Also spent a lot of growing up time in there.
- Went to the bowling alley. To all who came in after the fact, we used to spend a LOT of time there!
- Got a wicked cool hat, vintage Frank Sinatra type looking one!
- Went to Classics (pool hall). Saw Lisa and Rosemary (ppls I have known for very long time).
- Beat Smurfinator at a game of pool!
- DUNKIN FUCKING DONUTS!
- 99.9 KISS COUNTRY! Y-100! BIG 105.9!!!!
- Holy crapmonkeys, checked out some of the stores on 441. (That brought back some memories!)
- THE BEEEEEEEEEEEEEACH!!!!!!
- La Bomba!! Best Spanish food around here, for sure.
There are plans to do other things, and see other people. I still need to find that damn Whole Foods store that's around here. Tomorrow, we're going to the beach with Lisa and Rosemary (the beach two days in a row! Gee, it's like I'm back in South Florida or something! XP). No idea what else will happen while here.
Okie donkie...I'm gonna go see if I can find a nice fic or two to read. Might even work on one myself.

P.S. - Holy fuck about Michael Jackson! And Farrah Fawcet too, but it was clear she wasn't gonna be around for much longer. But MICHAEL JACKSON too!? Just...wow. That one was unexpected.
