Pics, as promised!
So I come forth with pics! YAAAY! We've got several of my room (before/after the wall redecoration), a few of my new favorite article of clothing, and another of my new hair look. Hope everyone enjoys them:
Let's start with the room pics, since they're the ones I've been wanting to post for the longest:
Here is all the before pics:
Now the After: (there's gonna be some parts of the room that have no after b/c I ended up not changing anything. I wasn't sure what was gonna change when I started on the wall redecoration endeavor, so I just snapped all of the room.)
(no change here - just put the Serenity poster back on the wall b/c it'd fallen off...right on my head while I was at the desk.)
Sorry for not much commentary on those, but I figure you guys have seen my room enough times by now to be able to form your own commentary! XD
And now...THE JERSEY!! XD :
I'm the Captain...HEH! XD
Of course I got it with Pip on there! I mean...not like I would get 'Mandy'. That's so...unfandomish! And 3 is my favorite number (and not just because it was the number of one of the greatest Nascar drivers EVAR), so that was a given.
But ain't it purty?! Got washed for the first time today (something that always makes me nervous...even though the labels tell you what to do, there's always the off chance it'll get messed up anyeays!). *tackle!huggles dvshipper * Without her, this wouldn't have come to me. She totally made it happen without a second thought or complaint, even with all my nagging about it!!! A major spending burden was lifted with this happening, so THANK YOU ASH!!!!!!(again!)
And finally, the hair....I took two pics (well, more than two, but these were the ones I was most happy with...), one with glasses and one without because I think you get a different feel with/without them:
Definitely more pink this time, but I was experimenting with the color a little more. I mean, with doing it for more then a year and a half, I'm comfortable with what the color's going to do. And I know if it's too bad a turn out, it'll fad pretty quick anyways, leaving a lovely subtle shade mixed with the highlights. But this time, I did want bolder and different (even for me), so I did the bottom too. I'd never done the tips before, so I tried to highlight them a bit before adding the pink. It didn't lighten up much, so to compensate I put A LOT of pink in the bottom so it would come out...and yeah, i think it worked! I really like the boldness of it. Very fresh and new!
And I love how people have been doing double takes when I walk in stores and such. Great fun!
Alrighty, that's all I've got for tonight. I'm wicked tired (it's gotta be that special friend of mine b/c I really didn't do anything today to warrant such lethargy!) and this is about all I had in me to do. I plan to post about the BN special features tomorrow (which I have off - first time in a LONG time I've had Friday off!), so be prepared for that! XD
