As per dvshipper 's request, I will be quoting the Mummy for the next little while...
So here's some random stuff...
~ I did NOT know they have Gilmore Girls novels!!!! I mean, I should've realized because most popular tv shows have a few novels to accompany them. Of course not all are as popular amongst the fandoms like the Star Trek or Stargate novels, but they do exist. Still, this surprises me...if I wasn't planning on, you know, saving money for various reasons, I would definitely be buying some of these. They'll just have to wait now...
~ Last night, when I posted the book meme and mentioned 'Secret of the NIMH', I realized I hadn't seen that book in a while. So I searched the drawer I THOUGHT it was in (it wasn't, and Ihae no idea were else it could possibly be - this is becoming a not so cool pattern), and ended up finding THIS book. I have never read it, and it is a young adult novel, but I'm thinking this might be what I read after I finish Angels & Demons. I was pleasantly surprised by the find b/c I'd forgotten I had this book...and I've had it for years, which is proof that I have been a Tudors junkie LONG before the show came around.
(There are other books in this series...I'm tempted to start looking for these in book stores. I can't help it - I've always loved the young reader's stories on known historical figures. And yes, I am a BIG fan of the Royal Diaries series! XD)
~ I have now jumped on the bandwagon and created a dreamwidth account (thanks to cleothemuse for the invite!)... Like everyone else, I have no intention right now (or possibly ever) to abandon LJ for dreamwidth, but I didn't like the idea of someone possibly going in and snurching up the dannysgirlsg1 name (yes, extremely selfish of me, but I'm allowed some moments, aren't I??) that I've kinda made my own, ya know? ~ NCIS TONIGHT!!!!! I'm excited for the Tony/Ziva showdown!!! I'm not sure how I feel about the potential spinoff yet, but I'll probably watch it to see if it can stand on it's own without the awesomeness that is the cast of NCIS. It doesn't help that I was more into last week's ep for the Tony/Ziva stuff rather than the other storyline...but of course NOW...I'll stop so as not to spoil, but DAMN, I'm excited for tonight's ep!
~ I start working again on Friday. I'm on register then, but Sunday and Monday I am in the box. This is weird seeing as they are so short on regular cashiers that James has been putting floor boys on the registers, but I'm not one to complain. I'm thinking I might start one of my marathons which I planned back in January. May even pick back up on The Tudors rewatch... Of course next week is graduation for Cecilia High, so I'll probably be working more (if not the entire weekend). I'm happy to be going back to work - I need the dineros if I want enjoy Chicago and possibly go to Dragon*Con!
~ My kittehs are weird!:
This is Suess Cat drinking out of the kitchen faucet - she will come bounding into the kitchen and jump up there the instant she hears the faucet running...because she's weird...and she also stalks me... (of course Sikozu has been just sitting and staring at me all day - it bothers me!)
That's all for now...I think I'm gonna go see how many DVD label stickies I actually have stuck to my wall (are you thoroughly confused now? *snirk*)

P.S. - Do we know when the next SG-1 novel comes out?? I mean, Hydra came out in December, so it should be coming around to th next release soon... I just like to be on top of these things...
P.S. (squared) - She's staring again...creepy little Sputnik! No, correction, she's running around the room like a spaz...Another correction - she just used me as her personal stepping stool so she could get on the nightstand to be able to get in the window...because she didn't want to jump on the bed. So again I say: My kittehs are weird!
