I checked amazon this afternoon after we got back from Fresh Food, and it said he was out for delivery. Of course when we had come in, my name wasn't up on the package list, so I figured if I took the walk to the bookstore that I needed to do, that he'd be here when I got back. Went to the bookstore (with a stop at the MTA ATM to check my SunTrust balance), and when I got back, the girl that was at the front desk had just put up a new list, and my name was on it! WHOOT!!!
Of course there's a picture of my new cuddle:

So yeah, didn't have any hassle at the bookstore this time. Got some more plain index cards, and an index card holder (though not the kind I ultimately wanted), and more pens and markers (can never have too many of those!).
Spent the majority of the afternoon working on my flash card type thingos for my Latin vocab and conjugations - I did finish them, but since I spent a good part of the evening with Paris and Shaq (ended up watching The Sarah Connor Chronicles down in Paris' room, which is good since I knew my bitchy roommate would be hoggin the tv, as usual), I didn't get a chance to thoroughly study them. My plan is to get up earlier than usual tomorrow morning so I can hit up Starbucks for a Chai Tea, and then sit outside of the classroom before class and study them cards. I'm thinking with a little cram/study session, I can get a majority of the words and the conjugations down.
Okie day, it's just been confirmed - Harvey PWNS all of Farscape! I'm gonna have to make another special two icon post just for him.

Txted Merry yesterday, and she assures me that we're still going to the Chili Cookoff...Of course I'm still kinda unsure b/c this is her, and I know her like I know myself, and there's that niggling little feeling that she'll bail out and I'll be stuck here. But I'm trying to keep faith cause I really want to see her, and I know she really wants to see me, and I really really really wanna go back "HOME" and be somewhere WARM for a change. I told her we're gonna need to call each other and confirm all our plans and whatsuch, and all she said was 'yep.' Anywho, I'll probably call her tomorrow night or something.
Carpi Sun = AWESOMENESS! The drink of BFFs! (how many of these did we drink over that one little weekend?? LOL!) One of us is so stocking up on some for Chicago Con - it's lik essential now!
Okie day, I think that's about it for now. I really needed to get to bed if I wanna actually go through with my plan of getting up earlier.
