"You think you know a story..."
And my questions have been submitted! *dances* I submitted three on different subjects, all of which had some kind of personal connection to me in a way but weren't necessarily "selfish" questions (b/c I thought long and hard about what I would ask and decided I was truly curious about the answers to such questions). Here's what I asked:
Note: I edited a little as I was typing them up for submission (shocker there - I never type what I wrote originally!), so I'm going off of memory rather than what's been written down since Saturday:
#1: As someone who grew up in South Florida, I always find it interesting to get an outsider's opinion. So I was wondering what your experience was like down in the Sunshine State? Did you do anything fun and excitng outside of shooting for Burn Notice, or was it all about filming?
#2: What do you think when people (such as myself) tell you your portrayal of Daniel was what ultimately inspired them to be archaeologists/anthropologists?
#3: What did you think of how the Arthurian legends were incorporated into seasons 9 & 10 of SG-1? Do you think SG-1 gave a fresh and memorable interpretation to the stories that have been around for centuries?
The last one, obviously, has to do with the fact that I've been doing nothing but focusing on Arthurian legends and SG-1 since this semester started and I REALLY like hearing everyone's POV on the matter (I eat that shit up, you know??). And getting his opinion, considering he was sorta on the inside of it, would just be downright awesome.
The first one - it's ALWAYS fun to get thoughts from someone from a very different part of the world when they come to Florida. I remember him making a comment about it being 97 during the day and STAYING 97 even after it got dark and that made me laugh because that is not something I find to be a big deal - I grew up in that. It's normal for me. So I wanna see what stuck out most about Florida with him - see if it's anything I (or any othe S. Floridian) took for granted all the years I lived there.
And the middle one...well, you've seen his reactions to people telling him he inspired them to do just that (I know I got an 'I'm sorry...' when I told him! *snirk*). Just wanted to see if he'd elaborate more on the subject... ;P
