"Nope! Wasn't me..."
Let's see if I can remember everything I wanted to post about!
~ Went on a field trip today for my ANT4930 class (Florida Archaeology). We went to Wakulla Springs and listened to Jim Dunbar talk about the excavations they've done there. The most interesting thing, I thought, was that they believe there is a intact skeleton of a mammoth out in the springs - and that they might be getting a grant to excavate it. There has already been a mammoth excavated from the site, and mastadon parts have also been found in the location. Aside from the archaeological stuff, getting to see the wildlife was a treat. Manatees, gators, ducks and coots (which crack me up because well...they crack up! *snirk*) I have pictures and will try and get those up soon.
~ Didn't make it out to the mall today as planned. So that means tomorrow I have to get up and go in the morning to get First Knight. Then I have to come back and do a shit load of school work because I got lazy and bleh today after the trip and just lounged around for several hours.
~ Started the King Arthur inspired AU. However, this one will be different b/c I'm planning on WRITING it all out prior to posting any. I want to have it done and finished, that way I won't lose interest (which is why I bought a notebook just for it, so I'll keep myself writing so I won't feel like i'm wasting a notebook) before getting it all posted. This is a big undertaking, but a good one I think...
~ Got Volume IV (aka a nice empty white binder at this point in time) of The Frelled Chronicles. I can't believe it's only been FOUR years (I mentioned this in the letter I'm holding hostage for reasons I don't really know) because how can we have only known each other for FIVE years... it's not possible! *tackle!huggles taraleesg1 !*
~ I'm kinda happy I'm outta lims right now - I really haven't been feeling up to icon making lately. It's all about fics and vids right now. So though I'm a little miffed I missed out on the Hugs and Kisses Challenge (you KNOW I was gonna be using the DV kiss - i mean, come ON!), but it's really not too upsetting.
~ For anyone who was curious, all my favorite characters have been guessed on the meme I did yesterday.
~I've updated the Stuff List for those keeping score...
Yeah, that's all I've got for now. I'm debating between working on fic (not sure which one), posting chapters for others, or watching something.
