"I'm dreaming of a white...christmas..."
Yeah - we watched the end of the movie and now the damn song is STUCK in my fron... *sigh*
I figured while I wait for someone to finish up a x-mika fic, I'd post about some stuff:
- Working tomorrow 10AM-6PM... on a register... JOY! I just LOVE working Christmas Eve, dealing with all the insane, idiodic coonasses that live around here. They'll be calling all day to see if we're open and what time we're closing, are we open on X-mika (which we are NOT - the one day out of the year when Hebert's is closed deliberately), they'll be rushing into the store, last minute food shopping and all that fun stuff. I know the day will go by relatively fast considering, but it's dealing with all the morons that's not gonna be easy. Still, X-mika is my all time favorite holiday and I'm not gonna let these people around here ruin my X-mika Eve. I'm going as decked out as I possibly can and will be as cheery and Merry Christmasy as I can.
-In other work news, I made Madre sign us up to work New Year's Day. It's only from 7AM - 1PM, and the box was open so I'll be in there (SCORE!). It's time and a half, and I'll be doing everything I would've been doing here to might as well take the opportunity, right? I mean I have Sumuru to watch (*snirk*), still have Suspicious River to watch, I'll have my S.2 of the Tudors by then, AND Madre gave me the password to connect to the internetz in there, so I MIGHT just be online too...
-With the chaos that was finals week, I ended up falling too far behind on my 365, and have decided to scrap it. I haven't decided it I want to start up a new one at the start of the year (I mean, PERFECT time for it)... I'll be contemplating it for the remaining days of '08.
- Chicago Con Fund = $68.43
- I managed to get myself a Hawaii quarter yesterday, so my States Quarter collection is 100% complete!!! *dances* I can't believe we've already gotten to the end of the quarters... I remember when they first started coming out and everyone was making a big deal over them. And you know what's kinda wrong? Every time I count the fund, I always think 'well, there's a nice roll of quarters on that damn board...' Bad, so bad... but I would never spend them. I've been collecting them since that first year, and am not missing a single one. I'm just so happy I have them all! Yay!
I think that's about it for now - the fic is about to be posted, so I'm gonna read that and then be off to bed...
