A Pretty Sound Life Plan for Dan

I want to play real-life Monopoly.

Buy places, fix them up, rent them out. I know the bank of Mom and Dad would be down with it because I'd be able to run the farm and work on the houses. They could always cosign with me and then I could get a contract with them that it's not mine until I pay the last payment, but I could have the incoming rent going to me, you dig? Anyway, I think that would be sweet and is very do-able.

The farming part doesn't fit in the game of Monopoly, but this way I would be able to afford to do both! If it was raining and I couldn't spray or brushchop, well then I'll just go to the house I'm currently fixing up and work on it till it clears up.

I kind of thought of this over the summer, then forgot about it, but then talked to my parents and they seemed pretty excited about it too, so, shoot, might as well look into it with a little more depth... or try it out this summer because they want to buy the house across the street and the land right by it, so, I already helped a ton in remodelling the Racki house (our other farm house) a couple summers ago. I really enjoyed doing that because I could really SEE the difference my work was doing, it's kind of like that with farming, but not as much. I still love working outside though, ahhh!

Hmm, this is probably the most positive I've felt about how/what I'm gonna do in life. It's funny that the stuff I want to do doesn't REALLY require me to be going to college. I guess the college part is a fall back plan. Man.. did I really just say college is my FALL BACK PLAN? I am so screwed! haha oooh well... at least I'll find a damn good wife and have a dozen little Peats running around!
