on good news and bad news
Bad news: L Word will start airing its final season this January. I started watching this show in 2004 when I was a wee little lesbian at Oxford and it was a huge force in my breaking up with then girlfriend due to the fact that it made me want more. It taught me that just because I was stuck at Oxford didn't mean I had to settle for anything that was less than what I wanted. Obviously, living life like it is on TV is the American dream and I've never made a bad decision because of it. Ha, right.
Good news: L Word is finally being put out of its misery after the last two seaons of torture. I'm sorry, but the show's 4th and 5th seasons sucked. Majorly. What they did to that show is just inexcusable. However, they're redeeming themselves by giving the only character worth watching her own spinoff. Yes, everyone, Alice will be the central character of the new spinoff. Thank god. I honestly can't imagine wanting to tune in for a show about any of the other characters.
I hope to god this means I will never have to see or hear from the character of Jenny ever again.
