if i ever record a lo-fi album, robert schneider is producing it
i finally picked up olivia tremor control's "dusk at cubist castle" and its about damn time. i got my first elephant six cd (neutral milk hotel) about 2 and a half years ago, and it's been a slow process in obtaining all the collective's releases since then, but it will happen eventually. this record is brilliant. the artwork is incredible too...all done by william cullen hart who is the band's frontman and main songwriter. tonight i was swindled into smoking weed with my roommate and his friends and i decided to do the cliche stoner thing and i just sat there and flipped through all the elaborate trippy album art. i guess that was fun, though in general, jonathan richman really had the right idea about weed. i then fell asleep sometime between 10 and 11. which is why i'm awake at 5am right now.
this weekend my only plans are to go to harvard square and get jacky her ring (that's right we're tying the knot!) j/k, j/k lol gotcha! lol w00t...right...then go see as long as we're all living we're all jonah is gay at the house of suffering, then triplets of bellevile saturday, and i dunno what other than that and not babysitting. also, i'm buying a pair of jeans off alex cause i've worn this one pair just about every day since august and they're torn to shit.
