Took T to the James Joyce to find out when the next open mic is. T has a folk set pretty much figured out and is ready to play. They had good beer but the glasses were warm. A gecko kept crawling around our window. Hung out at King Corona for a bit. Then we went to New World for a local punk show. Lots of drunk people at the show. While in the handicapped stall some drunk guy heard me clear my throat and thought I was puking! I came out and said, "dont drink and wheel!" Met a cool girl there and things were going great and then she drops the "boyfriend" word. T was like "bail out, bail out!" I like how its done all casual and whatnot. Like the conversation in someway transitions neatly to their boyfriend. I need to stop meeting neat girls at New World that have boyfriends. I can still meet neat girls at New World. Well I guess its ok if they have boyfriends as long as they are up front and dont flirt with you to know that they've still got it and then drop it on ya. Someone should direct me to the right area like the people with the lighted wands that direct planes at the airport.
