I Need A Little TON OF CHRISTMAS!

Haul out the holly;
Put up the tree before my spirit falls again.
Fill up the stocking,
I may be rushing things, but deck the halls again now.
For we need a little Christmas
Right this very minute,
Candles in the window,
Carols at the spinet.
Yes, we need a little Christmas
Right this very minute.
It hasn't snowed a single flurry,
But Santa, dear, we're in a hurry;
So climb down the chimney;
Put up the brightest string of lights I've ever seen.
Slice up the fruitcake;
It's time we hung some tinsel on that evergreen bough.
For I've grown a little leaner,
Grown a little colder,
Grown a little sadder,
Grown a little older,
And I need a little angel
Sitting on my shoulder,
Need a little Christmas now.

So we're now 5 days into December and I have yet to make my first Christmas post :(  Are you disappointed in me?  I hope not, lets just say that I do NOT recommend getting the flu this season, its particularly nasty...  Anyways, this post will contain lots of various goodies to hopefully catch me up to the other wonderful people doing Holiday Posts; so where to start....  So much time and so little to do So little time and so much to do.  At least I managed to get my outside lights up and the tree up before I fell ill, yes I will take  you loverly people some pics so you can share in my family christmas.  GOOD NEWS- I have mailed out my cards for those of you who signed up for my card exchange today, its still not too late, I have extra cards left over that would just love to have a home for the holidays, so Sign Up for my Holiday Card Exchange!

I'm in the process of writing a fanfic...not entirelly an original idea or everyone's cup of tea, but the message is still the same one the tale has been bringing for generations, so it needs to be betaed... badly, but you can enjoy the rough form of the fic, " A Malfoy's Christmas Carol" (by Dan) here on my LJ before it gets posted to anywhere else on the internet.  Do read, comment, and above all enjoy it!!!
