I just came across this quote, and it hit me hard, I really like it a lot. You know when you hear something, a song, quote or whatever, and it completely resonates with you? That is what happened.

The opposite, to me, is the ironical cause of any political problems today. Because Conservatives, in the evangelical Christian sense, are looking forward to a world which is becoming worse and worse, until it reaches a point where Jesus returns. Instead of striving to create a better world (which liberals can be overzealous of, I will say), evangelical conservatives are trying to make people better by forcing their actions.
