A few hours ago Israel finally crossed the border into Lebanon to begin a ground assault. Good! I'm glad for it. You know, I really have been upset with U.S. support for Israel over the past few years, it has been a leading cause for the distrust Muslims have for the U.S. So really, I ought to be supporting the Palestinians and Lebanese, especially since I pity them, with the Jews just coming in and taking their land from 1910 onward. But you know what? I am sick and tired of those crazies blowing themselves and innocents up. And I will especially support this war since, for once, the U.S. currently has no involvement at all. Now Condoleeza is doing her best to say "Hell yes Israel, go beat the crap out of these guys!" with her comments on how we don't want peace yet. But, hey, it's better than us doing the fighting.
It's funny how last week, as all of this began, the Kashmir situation flared up again. It's almost too coincendental. World War Three, anyone?
