This is what makes Hubbard great!
So my R.A. put up a sign on our floor that says "if you could have one million dollars but had to spend it in a day, what would you use it for?" There is a marker lying next to it and you can write what you want. I walked by when he was putting it up, and said "bonds, securities, precious metals..." He shook his head at me. But then today I went by and saw this:
"Get 5 thick ass hoes and have them clapping that ass for days..."
I really don't know what my R.A. expected on that board, but he probably didn't expect such amusing responses.
In other news, the world is crazy today. I was going to class at Well's hall, and walking by a tree, and heard a robin chirping. So i looked up, and sure enough there is a robin! Now that makes no sense, they were all supposed to leave like a month ago. So I suppose it must be the anti-social robin, no one wanted to fly south with it. But that probably means it won't live through the winter.
The other crazy thing happened on 12th floor Hubbard, I went up there to some stuff i left in Clint's room. And I look out the window and all the snow is going straight up. Now I know it's not that ridiculous, but it just doesn't look right, to see all of it going straight up. And it was continually doing this, not merely gusting.
This weekend was interesting. On Friday I went to a Salsa dance, and that was very exciting. Really I didn't even plan it, I was coming back to Hubbard on a bus with Clint from playing pool and these two girls I know got on, and were going to Salsa, so I just went with them. It was a lot of fun.
