(no subject)
I must declare that the past few days have been the best days at State thus far.
Wednesday my suitemates, Matt, and I decided that dropping things from the 12 story to the basement down the stairwell was a good adventure. So we began getting various items that would be interesting to drop. However, you all underestimate the difficulty of getting things to go 13 stories down a stairway! (And maybe it is an MSU thing, we just can't get gravity to work quite as well as people at U of M could.) But anyways, everything kept hitting the railing and going onto like the 6th floor, or 7th floor, or such. But it was fun.
Then Thursday I did some stuff. At night was Campus Crusades which is always a good time, and then after we went bowling at the Union which was really cool.
On Friday I get a call and i was seriously pretty excited, Jimmy boy was coming here from Ferris! So he got here and we went over to Justins and stuff. But then I left to go to a barn dance somewhere decently far from campus. I must say that was a hilariously good time. I squaredanced myself silly.
And to top it off I went back and then went into town to party it up with Jimmy, Justin, Jeff and a bunch of others.
After less than 5 hours of sleep I awakened, ate, and began to walk to the stadium, but ran into the three J's from above, and we went and tailgated for awhile, which is always a good time.
The Game was next. That was that, no explaining, amazingly fun, quite a heartbreak.
At night I wasjust going to go out with some people, but then I got a call from Mackenzie and went to play broomball at Munn field with some crusaders. That was seriously awesome. I have played before at Springhill during the winter, but playing there was really cool. Not sure which is better, but it was a really sweet time. I came back at like 1, and being that the night was young, again went into town to party with the homies. That went well.
I guess that was the last few days in short.
And to top it off with a quote from the local paper:
"Michigan State sent two basketball teams to the Final Four last year. U of M enrolled two good-looking girls last year."
