Summary: After Danny visits SayItSayItSayIt, Jordan visits him.

I've been married twice before and I'm a recovering cocaine addict. And I know that's no woman's dream of a man. Or of a father.

Nonetheless I believe I'm falling in love with you.

If you want to run I understand. But you better get a good head-start, because I'm coming for you Jordan.

Jordan stares after him. Her stunned speechlessness has nothing to do with the fact her mouth is stuffed. You should go ahead and chew that sandwich.

She returns to watch the rest of the show. She sits and stares ahead, not listening. In her head, a silence roars. When the credits roll, this silence is punctuated by a single thought. ‘Danny Tripp is falling in love with me.’ She strides off to find him.

She finds him in Matt’s office; stops in the center of the room. She tries, and fails, to collect herself enough to speak.

The tension is more than Matt can take. "Jordan, do you want me to step out?"

She looks over at him, a puzzled expression knitting her brow. "No," she remarks, as if his presence or absence is of no consequence. Danny steps toward her, and she raises a hand to stop him. "Wait! I have to think. You just stand still, no matter what happens."

Danny smirks. "Can I still talk?"

"Don’t move. If I leave the room, count to ten and then you can move."

"You’ll need a bigger lead than that."

She considers this. She walks to him, raises her hands to his cheeks and pulls him into a kiss. He kisses her back, ardently. But he follows her directions: his hands remain at his sides. She breaks the kiss, and he says her name. It sounds like a request.

She looks at him, and a smile tugs at the right corner of her mouth. "I’m not running."

"Then I can move again?" She nods, and he enfolds her in his arms. She raises a hand to her mouth, makes a strangled, gagging noise.

Matt scoffs. "You must be a great kisser; she looks like she’s gonna hurl."

Jordan’s eyes are wide with alarm as she tells Danny, "The whole morning sickness thing is a bit of an old wives tale."

"No, I think you’ve got it," he said smiling.

"I," she swallowed hard. "I meant the morning part." She looked around in a panic, and Danny quickly extended a wastebasket, held back her loose, silky hair. He and Matt exchanged a meaningful glance.

"I love you, Jordan."
