And sitting here in my Safe European Home

So, I got back last night, after travelling for a total of 21 hours (from the moment the taxi picked me up from the hostel in Beijing to that I opened the door of my flat), and today I'm back at work already and with a tonne of things to do;

- I travelled over 5000 miles by train, spanning 3 countries and 5 time zones (8 hours difference from London at the furthest east I got), walked probably an average of 10 miles a day if not more, saw a lot of fantastic things and places, met a lot of amazing people, got 2 arms that looks like fucking lobsters because of sunburns, climbed mountains, took chair lifts, swam in lakes (well, got into the water) and ridden camels, took a lot of pictures (half of which I'll probably delete when I see them on a proper screen cos they're crap, the other half I may or may not post at a later stage).

I may or may not post my tales of the road and/or detailed reports of my travels within the next few days/weeks, when (and if) I have time and can be arsed to do so.

Meantime, however, the question is
WHY THE FUCK DID I NOT DO THIS BEFORE??

PS See you all soon I hope, we're away with the band this Sat already (Wolves), but hopefully there'll be chance before or soon after
