Music that soothes the savage breast
At work, when we're unloading and processesing the merchandise from the truck, we always have the radio on, and we take turns with different stations. Today we were listening to KDL (103.1FM), a party/trance/techno station (w00t!). One of their taglines is: "KDL! Finally, a radio station that plays this:" and they immediately start a song. This was a bad morning, for a lot of reasons, and then I heard:
"KDL! Finally, a radio station that plays this:" ....and the tense opening strains of Sandstorm fill the air like a gentle rain that has the promise of a thunderstorm behind it.
And suddenly my day was a little bit better.
