I cannot believe how much has happened since I moved back.
January
-Moved in, mom stayed for a couple of weeks
-Enrolled in at the Culinary Academy of Long Island
-Offered to take Sal's place at work two days later
February
-Turned 21
-Accepted taking the $25.50/hr position
-Unenrolled(?) from Culinary School :( (too much to handle)
-February 11th, after a huge snow storm, went out to shovel snow and fell off my stairs and tore a ligament in my knee
-"Diagnosed" with a torn MCL, crutches and forced to wear a Bledsoe brace for 6 weeks
-Finding out I didn't have coverage anymore, no physical therapy or MRI to confirm diagnoses
-Out of work for 6 weeks
-Mom came back to help me since it was my right knee and I couldn't drive
-Went into work 2 hours a week to keep job
March
-Bought into COBRA (an extension of my coverage from Kroger)
-Mom still stayed and helped me and went home towards the end of March
-Went back to the doctor and was told to keep wearing the brace and give it another 4 weeks to heal
April
-Knee wasn't getting better so started physical therapy
-Went back to work 16hrs a week
-Suspected to have had a torn ACL which needs surgery
-Went for a free MRI
-Saw a surgeon to take care of my torn ACL
May
-Surgery on May 20th, out of work 3 months at least
June
-Found out I was dropped from COBRA without notice as of May leaving me with a $22k bill with my surgeon.
July
-Sliced my finger open and had to get stitches
A lot of other crap but it's almost 2 in the morning and it's muggy and hot and I wanna go to bed so blah.
drunkness,
disabled,
haters gonna hate,
lacerations
